P.E.O. Scholarships for Women

P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization for women. Founded in 1869 as a small friendship society, P.E.O. quickly grew into a diverse, widespread sisterhood with one mission: promote educational and personal growth opportunities for women. The application is open every September to January.

Scholarship requirements:

  • Student must be enrolled in the following award year
  • Must be a California resident and a citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States or Canada.

Kerosky & Gallelli: American Dreams Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2022. Empire’s Immigration Law Professor, Christopher Kerosky and his firm have created this scholarship which is awarded to a student who is an immigrant or a child of immigrants (first- or second-generation Americans). Recipient(s) will be selected by Empire's Scholarship Committee based on a student’s record of overcoming adversity in achieving academic success, providing service to the community or other meritorious accomplishments.  Academic promise and financial need are also factors considered.
